On the afternoon of July 26th, the second phase of the New Materials Special Session of the Specialized, Special, New, and High Quality Development Lecture Hall, with the theme of "Technology Leading and Moving towards the New", was successfully held at the China Financial Information Center in Lujiazui, Shanghai. Experts and scholars in the field of advanced materials research, representatives of material enterprises, specialized, refined, and new enterprises, financial service institutions, and industry associations gathered together to discuss how to help high-quality development of specialized, refined, and new enterprises in the field of advanced materials.
Wei Bingwu, director of Shanghai SME Development Service Center, said in his speech that under the background of high-quality development as the essential requirement of Chinese path to modernization, and on the basis that specialization, refinement and novelty have become the only way for the development of SMEs, promoting high-quality development of specialized, specialized and novelty enterprises has increasingly become the top priority of the government and the market. Innovation is the soul of high-quality development for specialized, refined, and innovative enterprises, and new materials are the industrial foundation and basic industry. The theme of this lecture is "Technology leads, moving towards the new". From the perspectives of experts, enterprises, and institutions, it is meaningful and necessary to discuss development and seek good strategies together.
It is worth mentioning that Shanghai has always attached great importance to the cultivation of specialized, refined, and new enterprises. Since 2010, Shanghai has been the first to carry out the selection of specialized, refined, and new enterprises nationwide. So far, it has cultivated a total of 8288 municipal level specialized, refined, and new small and medium-sized enterprises, and nearly 700 national level specialized, refined, and new small giant enterprises. According to statistics, key basic material related enterprises currently account for 11% of the specialized, refined, and new small giant enterprises.
In the future, Shanghai will continue to play the role of a bridge and link in the service system, accurately understand the needs of enterprises, explore and update service models, form a joint force to support the development of specialized, refined, and new small and medium-sized enterprises, stimulate development vitality, and enhance endogenous momentum, contributing to Shanghai's high-quality development.

Rice is the raw material for rice, and in today's rapidly developing technology, from chips, smartphones, smartwatches, clothing, to intelligent equipment, new energy vehicles, and photovoltaic panels, the use of new materials is indispensable, playing a crucial supporting and ensuring role in all aspects of people's clothing, food, housing, and transportation.

The "14th Five Year Plan for the Development of Advanced Materials Industry in Shanghai" proposes that accelerating the innovation and development of advanced materials in Shanghai is of great significance in promoting the strengthening of the industrial chain, strengthening the foundation, and enhancing the core competitiveness and industrial level of key industrial chains.
Zhang Fengming stated that in the future, the China Financial Information Center will continue to leverage its advantages in information collection and release, financial resource integration, linkage between academic and research institutions, and brand communication empowerment, closely adhering to the theme of "high-quality development", and working with all parties to build a platform for common learning and business exchange, helping Shanghai accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system, and supporting the development of specialized, refined, and innovative enterprises to achieve stability and progress.
